Slack Web API / List conversation history

Fetches a conversation's message history (docs.slack.dev/reference/methods/conversations.history). Requires one of channels:history, groups:history, im:history, mpim:history depending on the conversation type.

Request parameters

  • channel query · required

    Conversation ID to fetch history for.

  • cursor query · optional

    Paginate through result pages using the next_cursor from a previous response.

  • inclusive query · optional

    Include messages matching the oldest or latest timestamps.

  • latest query · optional

    Only include messages before this Unix timestamp.

  • limit query · optional

    Maximum items to return, default 100, max 999.

  • oldest query · optional

    Only include messages after this Unix timestamp.
