Finds researchers by name, with OpenAlex filters. Each author has id, displayname, orcid, workscount, citedbycount, summarystats (hindex, i10index), lastknowninstitutions, affiliations by year and topics. Use the id in an openalex-works-search filter (authorships.author.id:A...). Data from OpenAlex (openalex.org, by OurResearch), CC0: no attribution required, citing OpenAlex is appreciated. Free, no key, but the free daily budget is shared, so a 429 (ratelimited, $0) means try again tomorrow.
