CloudConvert / Create job (raw task graph)

Power-user route: submit CloudConvert's own free-form tasks graph directly. Each key is a caller-chosen task name (alphanumeric, -, _); each value has an operation field (import/url, convert, export/url, thumbnail, optimize, pdf/ocr, merge, archive, metadata, metadata/write, capture-website, watermark, command, ...) plus operation-specific options, and may reference other task names via input to chain them. Returns immediately with status "waiting"/"processing"; poll GET /v2/jobs/{id} until data.status is "finished" or "error".

Request parameters

  • tag body · optional

    Arbitrary identifier echoed back on the job, useful for correlating webhooks.

  • tasks body · required

    Free-form: object of named tasks. Typed as additionalProperties:true (the gateway's importer types a bare free-form object as a string; this field is hand-patched to object/additionalProperties:true after write-seed, per the onboarding brief).

  • webhook_url body · optional

    Job-specific webhook receiving job.finished / job.failed events.
