The API returns different result types based on the category parameter: - places (default): Returns placeresults with hotels, restaurants, attractions, and destinations - **thingstodo**: Returns placeresults filtered to attractions and activities - restaurants: Returns placeresults filtered to restaurants - **destinations**: Returns placeresults filtered to geographic destinations - hotels: Returns placeresults filtered to accommodations - **airlines**: Returns placeresults filtered to airlines - forums: Returns forum_results with travel discussions and tips
