## How the providers differ

Cloro runs a prompt through the live interface of each assistant from a country you choose and returns the answer with cited sources, ads and shopping cards where they appear. SearchAPI.io returns structured JSON for ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Copilot, and its ChatGPT operation queries the logged-out product. The SEO provider returns Google AI Mode in advanced and raw forms. Answers vary run to run, so test with the same prompt more than once.

## What does an AI search operation return?

The answer text the assistant gave for your prompt, plus the sources it cited. Some providers also return citation pills, brand entities, ads and shopping cards when the interface shows them.

## Can I choose the country the prompt runs from?

Yes. Several operations take a country, so the answer reflects what a user there sees.

## Will I get the same answer twice?

Not always. Assistants regenerate answers, and the AI Overview operation says Google regenerates the overview for each scrape. Run a prompt several times before you draw a conclusion.

## How is this different from calling the model API?

These operations read the consumer product, with its web search and citations, instead of a bare model. That is what a buyer sees when they ask.

## Is a ranking or visibility score included?

No. The operations return answers and sources. Your agent counts mentions and compares across runs.
