## How is this different from an AI hashtag generator?

It reads real posts. The page searches TikTok for your hashtag, reads the captions of the posts that come back and counts the other hashtags in them. No model makes anything up.

## How many posts does it read?

One page of results per run. That was 20 posts when we tested #booktok. The title above the table says how many posts it read. Your agent can read more pages with the cursor the endpoint returns.

## Why is my own hashtag missing from the table?

Every post under it has it, so it would always come first. The table lists only the other hashtags.

## What does the country code do?

It asks TikTok for posts from one region, such as US or GB. Leave it empty for the default mix.

## Are the plays the size of the hashtag?

No. Plays is the sum of plays on the posts in this sample that use the tag. It shows which tags sit on posts that got watched, not how big the tag is on all of TikTok.

## Can I see the posts themselves?

Each row links to the most played post that uses the tag. For a list of videos by keyword, use the TikTok search tool linked below.
