# Google Trends explorer: run it free, or from your agent

Weekly Google Trends interest for up to five terms over the past 12 months, as a CSV-ready table.

## Prompt

Use looot to compare Google Trends interest for these terms: [term one], [term two]. 1. Set up https://looot.ai/skill.md. 2. Search the catalog for a Google Trends endpoint and check its price before you call. 3. Run it for the past 12 months in [country or worldwide]. 4. Return a weekly table, the average per term and one line on which term is rising.

## What it needs

One to five search terms and an optional country code

## What comes back

- week
- interest from 0 to 100 for each term
- the country or worldwide scope
- the average interest per term

## Endpoints and providers

- searchapi-io: searchapi-io-google-trends

## What it costs

The tool on the web page runs live at no cost to you and is limited per hour. The results come from public data through looot. For heavier or repeated use, run the same job from your own looot account: looot bills per call and charges nothing while your agent is idle. The live price comes from the catalog and shows on the web page.

## Pick a keyword

Compare two ways of naming the same thing and write for the one people search more.

## Plan content

See which months a topic peaks so you publish before the wave, not after it.

## Compare countries

Run the same terms for two countries and see where the interest is.

## Agent research

Give your agent a list of terms and get one table with the trend of each.

## How do I compare terms on Google Trends?

Type up to five terms separated by commas, add a two letter country code if you want one country, and press the button. Each term gets its own column of weekly values.

## What do the Google Trends numbers mean?

They are relative, not search counts. 100 is the highest point of interest for the terms and period you asked for, and every other value is a share of that peak.

## Is this Google Trends tool free?

Yes. It costs you nothing and needs no account, and it is limited per hour. For many comparisons, your agent runs the same call on your own looot account.

## What time range does it cover?

The past 12 months, one value per week. Your agent can ask for other ranges, such as the past 5 years or the past 7 days, through the same endpoint.

## Can I see Google Trends for one country?

Yes. Type a two letter code such as US, GB or DE in the country field. Leave it empty for worldwide interest.

## Why do I get zero for a term?

Google Trends shows 0 when a term has too little search volume in that place and period. Try a broader term, a longer range or a bigger country.

## Does it show monthly search volume?

No. Google Trends only gives relative interest. For search volume per month, your agent can search the looot catalog for a keyword volume endpoint.

## Can I download the data?

Yes. The result table has copy CSV and download CSV buttons, so it opens in a spreadsheet as is.
