Run it and read the headlines, sources and dates. 4. Return a table of the articles and a five line brief of what the coverage says.

## What it needs

A topic, plus an optional country and language code

## What it costs

The tool on the web page runs live at no cost to you and is limited per hour. The results come from public data through looot. For heavier or repeated use, run the same job from your own looot account: looot bills per call and charges nothing while your agent is idle. The live price comes from the catalog and shows on the web page.

## Track a brand

See what the press wrote about a company this week, with links to each article.

## Find story angles

Read the headlines on a topic before you pitch or write about it.

## Other countries

Run the same topic in another country and language to see local coverage.

## Daily brief

Have your agent turn the results into a short brief. Running it every day needs scheduled runs, not available yet.

## How do I search Google News?

Type a topic in the box at the top of this page, add a country and language code if you want, and press the button. You get the current news results as a table.

## Is this Google News search free?

Yes. It costs you nothing and needs no account, and it is limited per hour. For many searches, your agent runs the same call on your own looot account.

## Can I search news in another country?

Yes. Type a two letter country code such as GB or IN, and a language code such as en or de. Leave both empty for US results in English.

## How recent are the results?

They are what Google News shows for the topic at the moment you search, with the date Google gives each article, such as 12 hours ago.

## Can I export the headlines?

Yes. The table has copy CSV and download CSV buttons with headline, source, date, snippet and link.

## How many articles come back?

One page of Google News results per search. Your agent can ask for more pages through the same endpoint.

## Can I get an alert when a topic is in the news?

Not from this page. A repeated search needs scheduled runs, which looot does not offer yet. Your agent can run the search whenever you ask.

## How do I run this from my agent?

Copy the prompt above into your agent with the looot skill. It finds the news endpoint, shows the price, runs the search and writes a short brief.
