# Email extractor: run it free, or from your agent

Lists every email address written on one public web page, with copy and CSV download.

## Prompt

Use looot to find the email addresses on these pages: [paste page links, one per line]. 1. Set up https://looot.ai/skill.md. 2. Search the catalog for an endpoint that scrapes a web page to markdown and check its price before you call. 3. Run it once per page and pull out every email address. 4. Return one table of address, domain and source page, without duplicates, and give the total cost.

## What it needs

A public web page link

## What comes back

- each email address found
- the domain of each address
- how many times it appears on the page

## Endpoints and providers

- context-dev: context-dev-web-scrape-markdown

## What it costs

The tool on the web page runs live at no cost to you and is limited per hour. The results come from public data through looot. For heavier or repeated use, run the same job from your own looot account: looot bills per call and charges nothing while your agent is idle. The live price comes from the catalog and shows on the web page.

## Find a contact

Pull the press, sales or support address off a company's contact page.

## Build a list

Have your agent run a list of pages and put every address in one table.

## Check before you send

Run each address through the email checker before it goes into a campaign.

## Audit your own site

See which addresses your pages expose to anyone who reads them.

## How do I extract email addresses from a website?

Paste the page link in the box at the top of this page. The tool reads the page and lists every address in its text and mailto links, with a copy button and a CSV download.

## Is this email extractor free?

Yes. Each page you run in the box costs you nothing and is limited per hour. For many pages, your agent runs the same job from your own looot account at the per-call price shown above.

## Do you store the pages or the emails you find?

No. This page does not save or log the link you paste or the addresses it finds. The link goes once to the scraping provider through looot, and the list comes back only to your browser.

## Does it crawl the whole website?

No. It reads one page per run. Contact, about, team and imprint pages are the usual places to try. Your agent can run a list of pages.

## Why did it find no emails on a page that has them?

The address may be in an image, built by a script after the page loads, written as name at domain, or behind a login. The tool only finds addresses written as text or in mailto links.

## Is it legal to collect email addresses from websites?

It depends on where you and the people are, and on what you do with the addresses. Many places restrict sending marketing email without consent. Check the rules that apply to you before you use a list.

## How do I run this from an agent with looot?

Give your agent the skill.md link from the prompt above. It calls the context-dev-web-scrape-markdown endpoint with the url field and pulls the addresses out of the markdown it gets back.

## Can it read pages that need JavaScript?

The provider renders most public pages. A page that blocks automated visits or needs a login comes back empty or as an error.
