## How do I remove duplicate rows from a CSV?

Paste the CSV or upload the file above, tick the columns that define a duplicate, and download the clean file. The first row of each duplicate group is kept unless you choose the last.

## Is my file uploaded anywhere?

No. The file is read and cleaned in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server, so it works for private lists too.

## Can I dedupe by email only?

Yes. Tick only the email column. When a column named email exists, it is picked for you.

## Does it treat Jane@Acme.com and jane@acme.com as the same?

Yes, when ignore case is on, which is the default. Spaces at the start and end of a cell are ignored too.

## Which delimiters does it read?

Commas, semicolons and tabs. It picks the one your file uses, and you can change it. Quoted cells with commas or line breaks inside are read correctly.

## How large a file can it handle?

Files up to 20 MB. Everything runs in your browser, so a very large file takes longer on a slow device.
