# People Data Labs pricing: plans, credits, cost per match

People Data Labs pricing from PDL's own pages: the free, Pro and Enterprise plans, what one credit costs, when a call is billed, and pay-per-call PDL lookups.

## Summary

People Data Labs pricing is a credit plan with a free tier: 100 credits a month for free with contact fields hidden, then a Pro plan that starts with a few hundred credits a month, then custom Enterprise contracts. PDL charges per match, so a lookup that finds nobody costs nothing.

The catch is that PDL's pricing page gives a starting price and a starting volume, not a price per credit for larger tiers, and its person and company plans are priced separately. This post reads both PDL pricing pages and its enrichment docs as they stood on 2026-11-03, works out the price of one credit at the entry plan, and shows how to call PDL per lookup through looot with no plan at all.

## People Data Labs pricing for person data

The person data plans are Free, Pro and Enterprise. Free gives up to 100 credits a month but hides emails, phone numbers and addresses, so it is for testing the match rate, not for outreach. Pro unlocks contact data and premium fields, and Enterprise adds all APIs, data license feeds and a success team.

People Data Labs person data plans. Read on 2026-11-03 from [peopledatalabs.com/pricing](https://www.peopledatalabs.com/pricing).

| Plan | Price | Volume | What it includes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 a month | Up to 100 credits a month | No commitment; emails, phones and addresses are obfuscated |
| Pro | Starting at $98 a month, annual terms save 20 percent | From 350 credits a month | Contact data, premium fields, CSV enrichment, email support |
| Enterprise | Custom | Custom volume | All APIs, data license feeds, field bundles, a success team, SSO |

The page states no per-credit price and no overage terms. At the entry Pro tier the two numbers it does give, $98 for 350 credits, come to about $0.28 a credit (our arithmetic). Larger Pro tiers are priced in the dashboard.

Annual Pro terms are cheaper than month to month, by the share the page states. Larger Pro volumes are priced inside PDL's dashboard, so the per-credit figure in the note is for the entry tier only; expect it to fall as volume grows.

## People Data Labs pricing for company data

Company data has its own plans and its own counter, in records rather than credits. The free tier has the same 100 a month; Pro is priced on its own card.

People Data Labs company data plans. Read on 2026-11-03 from [peopledatalabs.com/pricing/company](https://www.peopledatalabs.com/pricing/company).

| Plan | Price | Volume |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 a month | Up to 100 records a month |
| Pro | $100 a month | Starts at 1,000 records a month |
| Enterprise | Custom | Custom volume |

The Pro card says it starts at 1,000 monthly records; the comparison table on the same page says 350 records a month. Ask PDL which one applies before you budget.

If your agent enriches both people and the companies they work at, you are on two meters. Budget them separately, and check which counter the company endpoints draw from on your account.

## When does PDL charge for a call?

PDL charges per match. Its [Person Enrichment API reference](https://docs.peopledatalabs.com/docs/reference-person-enrichment-api) says so, and a match is a response that clears the minimum likelihood you set with `min_likelihood`. A miss returns a 404 and is not a match.

That makes `min_likelihood` a cost control as well as a quality control. Set it low and you pay for weak matches. Set it high and you pay only for records PDL is confident about, at the cost of fewer hits. PDL's [usage limits page](https://docs.peopledatalabs.com/docs/usage-limits) adds that every response carries a header with the credits that call spent, and that once your balance hits zero every request returns a 402.

## What does one PDL lookup cost per call?

Through your own PDL plan, one match costs one credit at your plan's rate, plus the plan price you pay whether you use it or not. Through looot, your agent calls the same PDL endpoints per lookup from one prepaid balance, with no PDL account and no plan. The table below reads looot's live price for each PDL job, next to other providers for the same jobs, when the page loads.

People Data Labs and others through looot, live price per call. Prices read on 2026-11-03 from the live looot catalog. They change when a provider changes its price.

| Option | Cheapest provider | Price per call |
|---|---|---|
| People Data Labs, enrich a person | People Data Labs | $0.2800 per call |
| People Data Labs, enrich a company | People Data Labs | $0.1000 per call |
| People Data Labs, search people | People Data Labs | $0.2800 per call |
| Enrich a person, other providers | Prospeo | $0.0390 per call |
| Enrich a company, other providers | Prospeo | $0.0390 per call |

The setup for PDL in an agent, with the endpoints it exposes, is on the [People Data Labs MCP page](https://looot.ai/mcp/people-data-labs). For the general job, see [enrich a person](https://looot.ai/use-cases/enrich-a-person) and [enrich a company](https://looot.ai/use-cases/enrich-a-company). When one provider misses, the next one can answer: [waterfall enrichment explained](https://looot.ai/blog/waterfall-enrichment-explained) shows how. PDL's place among the other B2B data sources is on the [best B2B data API page](https://looot.ai/best/b2b-data-api).

## PDL plan or pay per call?

A PDL plan fits steady volume: if you enrich thousands of records a month, month after month, a plan with a falling per-credit rate wins. Pay per call fits uneven volume, a first test, or an agent that needs PDL for one step and other providers for the next. You pay for the calls you make and nothing for the quiet months.

## Run it with an agent

Paste this into Claude Code, Cursor or any agent that reads a skill file.

## What it cannot do

- **Bulk data licenses.** PDL's data license feeds and full dataset downloads are Enterprise contracts with PDL, not per-call lookups.
- **Your PDL credits.** Calls through looot are billed from your looot balance, not from a PDL plan you already own.
- **Scheduled refreshes.** Re-enriching a list on a timer needs scheduled runs, not available yet.
- **Free credit.** looot has no free trial credit; you top up a prepaid balance first. See [pricing](https://looot.ai/pricing).

## Questions

### How much does People Data Labs cost?

PDL has a free plan, a Pro plan with a starting price and starting volume, and custom Enterprise pricing. The dated tables in this post show each plan as PDL's pricing pages stated it on 2026-11-03.

### Is People Data Labs free?

Yes, up to 100 credits a month on the free plan. Emails, phone numbers and addresses are hidden on that plan, so it is for testing coverage, not for outreach.

### What does one People Data Labs credit cost?

PDL publishes no per-credit price. At the entry Pro tier, the plan price divided by its credits gives the figure in the note under the person plans table; larger tiers cost less per credit.

### Does People Data Labs charge for no match?

No. PDL's enrichment docs say it charges per match. A lookup below your min_likelihood, or with no record, returns a 404 and is not a match.

### What is the difference between PDL person and company pricing?

They are separate plans with separate counters. Person plans count credits and company plans count records, each with its own free tier and Pro price.

### What happens when my PDL credits run out?

PDL's usage limits page says that once your remaining balance reaches zero, every API request returns a 402 error until you add credits.

### Can I use People Data Labs without a subscription?

Yes, per call. Through looot your agent calls PDL's endpoints from one prepaid balance, with no PDL account. The live table in this post shows the price per call.

### What does a People Data Labs lookup cost through looot?

The live table in this post reads it from the looot catalog when the page loads, for each PDL job. Your agent also sees the price before it runs a call.

### Is People Data Labs good for AI agents?

PDL returns structured JSON for people and companies, which an agent can read directly, and the [People Data Labs MCP page](/mcp/people-data-labs) shows how to connect it. Coverage varies by region, so test on your own records first.

## For agents

### Enrich five people with People Data Labs per call

```text
Use looot to call People Data Labs per lookup. First set up https://looot.ai/skill.md. Inspect the People Data Labs endpoint for the job people.enrich and show me its price per call and its inputs. Then enrich these 5 people (work email or LinkedIn URL): <paste 5 rows>. If People Data Labs misses one, try the next cheapest provider for people.enrich. Report job title, company, location, which provider answered, what each call cost and the total. Do not run more than 10 calls.
